There are moments in time when units of local government within our county signal their readiness to embrace the smart, responsible and architecturally stunning in-fill re-development of underutilized sites. The City of North Miami is experiencing one of those moments. We say this because the City of North Miami possessed the vision to approve the breathtakingly beautiful tropical luxe condominium development designed by Revuelta Architecture International and proposed by the development professionals at Atla Development. The proposal seeks to transform .79 acres of waterfront land into a luxury building featuring 96 ultra-luxurious units and a vast community benefits program for the citizenry of the City of North Miami. Notably, the project includes the new drainage for enhanced stormwater management and the conveyance of a parcel of land for the construction of a new lift station.

 The land use team at Holland & Knight did a magnificent job securing the approvals for the project, but two disgruntled residents filed suit to stop it. We appeared as appellate counsel following the completion of the entitlements phase and successfully litigated the case to finality in the appellate division of the circuit court.
