We are so very grateful to be part of the extraordinary team that obtained approval for Avalon II. It is a breathtakingly beautiful mixed-use and transit-oriented development in the City of South Miami, to be developed by AvalonBay Communities. This project has it all! We save our beloved Deli Lane and relocate it to a new, improved, and iconic historic site. We use transferable development rights, consistent with the City’s new legislation, to ensure the preservation and adaptive reuse of historic structures. And we add life and vitality to the streets with new residential units within a short walk of the Metrorail. Our special thanks to the leadership at the City of South Miami, without whose vision (and courage) none of this would be possible!
